内容介绍:
Under the fourth compute paradigm, the data intensive scientific discovery, there have been lot of discussions on the potentials of combining Big Data, Internet-of-Things (IoT) and user/event driven behavior analytics technologies together for cybersecurity. Maturity of hardware such as sensors and surveillance cameras, together with information sharing in the cyberspace and advance in data mining techniques, result in the potentials to understand the detail behaviors of human/things/events in the early stages of the cyber kill chain for pro-active security measures. However, realizing this data driven approach in practical cybersecurity solutions is still a challenge because of its multi-disciplinary nature, in particular those related to human. In this talk, we would like to first give our own view on big data and behavior analytics using the sense-relate-clone-think-act model. Then we will discuss the challenges and potentials of how to apply this model to address security issues in cyberspace today.
