On October 28, 2022, the "3rd Graduate Academic Forum of New Generation Artificial Intelligence Frontier Technology of Shanghai University of Engineering Science" was successfully held in Shanghai University of Engineering Science through online and offline synchronization. Organized by the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, the forum aims to cultivate more outstanding compound talents in the field of artificial intelligence and inject new momentum into the innovative development and cross-border application of artificial intelligence. The forum was chaired by Professor Gao Yongbin from the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and Professor Li Yanmei, Deputy Director of the Division of Graduate Studies, delivered a welcome speech.
At the forum, Professor Sun Gui, Director of the School of Information Engineering, Shanghai Maritime University, delivered a keynote speech on the theme of "Quantum Image Processing Technology", clarified the research background and research status of quantum image processing technology, and introduced in detail the work of Professor Sun Gui's team in quantum image processing algorithms and its simulation verification. Professor Ji Rongrong, Director of the Science and Technology Division of Xiamen University, gave a keynote speech on the theme of "neural network structure search", and proposed solutions and exploration strategies and search strategies through the background of network structure changes and some problems faced by current research fields. Professor Guofeng, State Key Laboratory of CAD & CG, Zhejiang University, and Professor Guofeng, National Youqing Zhang, delivered a keynote report entitled "3D Reconstruction, Rendering and Localization Based on Implicit Neural Representation", which introduced the background, application scenarios, future challenges and real-world applications of neuroimplicit phenomena. Master students Chen Shaotao and Ru Yajun shared the latest achievements obtained in their research directions. Starting from the background of topic selection, research significance, and research status at home and abroad, this paper analyzes the current problems and solutions in detail, and makes future prospects.
After the announcement of the forum, more than 200 graduate students applied for and submitted more than 30 papers, and 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 6 third prizes were selected for excellent papers.
Professor Gao Yongbin presided over the roundtable forum, where experts, professors and graduate students discussed and exchanged the issues raised by everyone. Regarding the in-depth cooperation between industry, education and research to jointly promote the development of artificial intelligence, experts and professors said that while the most cutting-edge academic research, we should apply theory to actual production, solve practical problems, and promote in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises; In terms of postgraduate research methods, scientific research experience and experience, experts and professors pointed out that graduate students should focus on solving problems and focusing on refinement in their writing.
